I first bow fished on the banks of Big Walker Creek in Virginia and loved it. In the mid 90s I entered Bow Fishing Tournaments here in Texas. The biggest gar I shot was 55 lbs in a tournament at Richland Chambers Lake June 3 & 4 1995. The biggest fish was on May 311997 at Richland Chambers Lake. Bow fishing combines the excitement of fishing and hunting. I enjoy sharing my knowledge of bow fishing and will take the time to teach you how hunt fish. Bow Shooting: Small Mouth Buffalo, Common Carp, Needlenoose Gar, Shortnose Gar, Spotted Gar, Drum, Gizzard Shad and Tilapia
Rod and Reel Fishing: Large Mouth Bass, Small Mouth Bass and Stripers. Catch and release or save some for good eating.
